Veteran's Day 2010
Today is Veteran's Day. A day to give tribute and thanks to those who have served this country to help keep us free. I have a great deal of respect for the men and women who have been a part of our military heritage. They deserve our praise and our thanks every day, and not just today. In honor of our veterans and those that are currently serving, a thank you video from Ray Stevens.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the tribute. Hubby and I served in the Army. Me as a Field and ER Nurse,Hubby as a Communication Officer. I will say Military life is hard on the families more now than in our years of service. Even though our years did have some fighting, It wasn't an all out war like today's. Most of the countries wanted us there, as well most of the places we were in and out rather fast. It is a good thing to give them Honor on such a day. We ate out at the Columbia Applebees and our Waitress was from outside of Philly, she came down with a few others to serve the Veterans a free meal. What a nice jester.
