Congratulations go out to the new Chairman of the Republican National Committee, Michael Steel. On the sixth ballot, Steele defeated South Carolina GOP Chairman Katon Dawson 91-77 to become the first black chairman of the Republican Party. I hope that I will run into Chairman Steele in the grocery store again so that I can congratulate him in person.
Chairman Steel will be a fantastic leader. I see him as part of the future of the Conservative cause.
