Tom Brady Out for the Year

In the first quarter of the first game of the season, the hopes of the New England Patriots, not to mention several fantasy football teams including one of mine, took a severe blow when reigning NFL MVP Tom Brady injured his knee. Brady will have to undergo season ending surgery. The Patriots were the prohibitive favorites to win the AFC East, and most predicted another trip to the Super Bowl for the Pats. Those odds have been greatly reduced with the news. In fact, oddsmakers have reduced the odds of the Pats winning the Super Bowl from 3-1 to 12-1.
