On the Eighth Day of Christmas-Silent Night

From now until Christmas day, I will be posting some sort of Christmas related post for the 12 Days of Christmas. American Pulse recently released the list of the favorite Christmas songs in America.  #1 is my own personal favorite, Silent Night. On the Eighth Day of Christmas, Silent Night as performed by the New York Children's Choir to open Saturday Night Live in memory of those who lost their lives in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.

On the Seventh Day of Christmas-Dean Martin "White Christmas"

From now until Christmas day, I will be posting some sort of Christmas related post for the 12 Days of Christmas. When I was growing up, Dean Martin was one of my mother's favorite singers. My son watches a lot of infomercials when he is home from school. One of the infomercials he likes are the ones for DVDs of Dean Martin's Celebrity Roasts and Variety Shows. So, he has become a fan of Dean Martin as well. On the Seventh Day of Christmas, here is Dean singing "White Christmas."

On the Sixth Day of Christmas-The Hallelujah Chorus

From now until Christmas day, I will be posting some sort of Christmas related post for the 12 Days of Christmas. When I used to sing in the church choir many years ago, part of our Christmas program would include The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah.  Our church also used to have a hand bell choir.  On the Sixth Day of Christmas I give you a hand bell choir perforing Handel's Hallelujah Chorus.
